Join our group of walkers if you would like to enjoy exploring the local countryside in friendly company.

Our walking group has become so popular with 40 plus members, many of whom regularly join the monthly walks.

To make the walks more manageable, since September 2022 Jo has organised a second monthly walk and has capped each walk to a maximum of 20 members. The walks are identical and take place on either on the 3rd Friday or the 4th Monday of each month.

Walks will take place as detailed on the programme. The programme for 2024 can be found below andon the Events page of the website. The walks vary in length from 6 to 8 miles. Local walks start and finish at the WMCC. We car share for walks further afield. The walks culminate in well deserved refreshments either at a pub or a cafe. The group often splits depending on whether a cuppa or a pint is required! Details of the next walk can be found on the events page and in the newsletter.
