Extract from Groups Guide

This group is for people who are on their own and find weekends lonely. We      currently have 10 members who enjoy meeting once a month usually on a       Saturday. During the winter months we have met for lunch at local venues and  enjoyed a friendly chat and a laugh. As the weather improves we intend to extend our visits to open gardens, the coast and maybe a bus trip.
